COVID Protocols

Due to the number of students participating in the event, the challenges presented by the airborne nature of this virus and wind instruments, along with the overnight nature of the event, we have made the tough decision to enact two more COVID protocol requirements. We at Colorado ASO appreciate your flexibility and are committed to the health and safety of each participant in addition to our commitment to offering the event, providing a quality experience for students from throughout the entire state.

In addition to the requirements outlined on the waiver, the following will also be required for participation in the event.

  1. All Wind and Brass players must have a bell cover for their instrument and an absorbent pad (a puppy pee pad is perfect) to catch any draining condensation from their instrument.

  2. All students must show one of the following items at registration:

    • Either their vaccine card (with full vaccination of one dose of J&J or two doses of Pfizer/Moderna)

    OR

    • A negative COVID test result taken sometime on or after Sunday January, 30th. At-Home test kits do not qualify for this.

Tickets

TIckets are required to attend the Colorado All State Orchestra Performances. The two orchestras are two separate ticketed events. Directors of participating students will receive one free ticket to each concert, but parent chaperones will need to purchase a ticket if they are planning to attend the concert. Participating students will also need a ticket if they would like to attend the performance of the other orchestra. All students are scheduled to attend the dress rehearsal of the other ensembles and will have a chance to hear each other at that time for free.

Tickets for the concerts may be purchased here:
